Deafinity – Training Session Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable £50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your chosen date
and time.
Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit via our online booking platform
(Calendly).
The remaining balance will be invoiced separately and must be paid no later than 7
calendar days prior to the scheduled session.
2. Payment
Full payment is required in advance of your session.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card (via our payment provider), or
any other method agreed in writing.
Invoices unpaid 48 hours before the session may result in cancellation without refund of the
deposit.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel:
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session date will forfeit the £50
deposit, but no further fees will be charged.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the session will be charged at 50% of the full
session fee.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session will be charged at 100% of the
session fee.
If you need to reschedule:
- One reschedule is permitted free of charge, if made at least 5 days in advance of the
session.
- Rescheduling within 5 days may incur a small admin fee or be treated as a cancellation
(at our discretion).
4. Session Delivery
Sessions can be delivered in-person or online. Please ensure that online attendees have a
suitable device and internet connection.
For in-person training, the client is responsible for providing a suitable venue unless agreed
otherwise.
Deafinity reserves the right to assess suitability of the venue for accessibility and health &
safety.
5. Certificates
Digital Certificates of Participation will be issued upon request after the session.
These do not specify training hours or CPD accreditation.
6. Trainer Substitution or Emergency
In the rare event that the trainer is unable to deliver the session due to illness or
emergency:
- We will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
- We aim to give at least 48 hours' notice in such cases wherever possible.
7. Client Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information when booking and ensure full participation during
the session.
You agree not to record sessions without prior written permission.
You are responsible for ensuring venue accessibility if you're hosting in-person training.
8. Use of Materials
All training content, slides, and materials are the intellectual property of Deafinity and must
not be copied, redistributed, or shared without permission.
9. Feedback & Communication
We welcome feedback after sessions and may contact you for testimonials (optional).
By booking with Deafinity, you consent to be contacted by email regarding your session and
future updates unless you opt out.
